Synopsis: | A shipwrecked boy finds himself on an island of waste in the ocean. There he makes friends with an old castaway who will teach him to see the surrounding resources with a magical perspective. By learning to believe in the potential of waste materials, the young man adapts and transforms them into useful inventions. Thanks to the winds that bring new objects, the two improve their lives on Trashipelago. One day a girl arrives and the young castaway welcomes her with enthusiasm, repeating the same words with which he himself had been welcomed. But the old man has disappeared, perhaps because he fulfilled his mission by teaching the young man how to survive. Without being discouraged, the boy begins his second life. |
